High-Level Conference: "Nordic-Baltic Financial Linkages and Challenges" Tallinn, Estonia, December 13, 2013

What: A high-level conference on Financial Linkages and Challenges to examine financial integration, cross-border collaboration, market perspectives and opportunities in the eight Nordic-Baltic countries: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden. 
Who: Jointly organized by the Central Banks of Estonia and Sweden and the International Monetary Fund, the day-long conference will bring together over 200 high-level policymakers, leaders of Nordic-Baltic banks, and other representatives from the private sector.
When: From 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2013.
Where: The Radisson Blu Hotel in Tallinn, Estonia.

The financial sectors of the Nordic-Baltic countries are closely linked and concentrated around a small group of large banks which operate against a backdrop of changing global and European financial sector standards, with implications for regulation, supervision and crisis management. The conference will review these issues in three thematic sessions and a concluding panel discussion. The conference is by invitation only and the working language is English.
