Eesti Pank coins will be on sale temporarily from a different online store

It will no longer be possible to buy Eesti Pank coins and coin cards from the Omniva online shop from Sunday, but some of Eesti Pank’s most popular coins and coin cards will be available to buy from the online store of 100kingitust OÜ from 1 July. This is a temporary measure because the central bank is looking for a new long-term partner for online store services to replace Omniva, which has been providing the service.

The contract with Omniva to provide an online store service expires on 20 June. 100kingitust OÜ will help sell Eesti Pank coins and coin cards to collectors in Estonia and abroad until a long-term partner is found, but the selection of coins will be limited. The coins available will include the extremely popular Sipsik coin. The central bank will also be releasing an additional set of Sipsik coin cards for sale in August.

“At Eesti Pank we are looking for a new long-term partner to manage the online store and we are very grateful to 100kingitust OÜ for their flexibility, which is allowing us to continue selling coins and coin cards in limited quantities for the time being”, said head of the Cash and Infrastructure Department at Eesti Pank Rait Roosve.

Eesti Pank recognises the inconvenience caused by the reorganisation of the online sales of coins and is working to find a permanent online sales solution that would meet the expectations of clients as fast as possible. Eesti Pank also thanks Omniva for their long and successful partnership in selling the coins and related products from Eesti Pank.

All Eesti Pank coins and related products can still be bought from the Eesti Pank museum shop at Estonia pst 11, Tallinn. The shop is open from 12.00 to 17.00 from Tuesday to Friday and from 11.00 to 16.00 on Saturdays. The Eesti Pank museum shop can be contacted on 668 0650.
