A joint seminar was held this week for the Supervisory Boards of Eesti Pank and Finantsinspektsioon, at which the development and risks of the Estonian financial market, and the need for a financial ombudsman in Estonia were discussed.

The meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board was held after the joint seminar, and Board members were presented the new Eesti Pank Financial Stability Review that was published on Wednesday.

Members also heard a review of the risk management report of the bank, and heard the regular review by Governor Madis Müller of the state of the economy in the euro area.

The next meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board will be on 7 December.
