At this weeks regular meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board, Eesti Pank Governor Madis Müller gave board members a review of the state of the economy in the euro area and presented the timetable for updating the strategy of the central bank.

Deputy Governor Ülo Kaasik presented the central bank's latest economic forecast, and Katri Urke, an economist at the bank, presented the Eesti Pank review of the labour market in more detail.

The Supervisory Board also confirmed its work schedule for the second half of the year.

The next meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board will be on 17 September, and the board also agreed to hold a seminar at the end of August.
