At the regular meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board this week, Eesti Pank Governor Madis Müller gave board members the regular review of the economy in the euro area and Deputy Governor Ülo Kaasik presented the latest economic forecast of the bank.

Members of the Board also heard a presentation of the work of Eesti Pank on sustainability, and the Board confirmed its own working schedule for the second half of the year.

The meeting was preceded by a seminar at which Chair of the Fiscal Council Peter Lõhmus gave a presentation on the work of the Fiscal Council. After the meeting the Board had a meeting with the head of the internal audit department Viljar Alnek.

The next meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board will be on 3 September.
