At its regular meeting on Tuesday, the Supervisory Board recalled Maive Rute from the Supervisory Board of Finantsinspektsioon and appointed in her place Veiko Tali, who will start work as Deputy Governor of the central bank from the new year. The decisions come into force from 1 January.
Governor Madis Müller and Deputy Governor Ülo Kaasik presented the new Eesti Pank economic forecast at the meeting, before it is published on Wednesday. Madis Müller also gave the Board the regular review of the state of the economy in the euro area.
The Board heard the results of the job satisfaction survey of bank staff and heard a review by the Governor of the Eesti Pank budget for the next year, which should be approved and published in the second half of December. The Supervisory Board also confirmed its work schedule for the next half year.
The next meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board will be on 26 January.
