At the regular meeting on Tuesday of the Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank, Governor of Eesti Pank Madis Müller proposed that Rein Minka remain as a member of the Supervisory Board of Finantsinspektsioon from October and that the new Deputy Governor of Eesti Pank Maive Rute join the board.

Eesti Pank Governor Madis Müller gave the board the regular review of the state of the economy in the euro area. The management board also presented the work of the bank in the past half year, the fulfilment of the budget, and the updated contents of the central bank’s strategy.

The Supervisory Board heard the report of the internal audit for the first half year and heard a review of the physical security of the bank.

The next meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board will be on 29 October.
