At Tuesday's regular meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board, Eesti Pank Governor Madis Müller gave board members the regular review of the economy in the euro area and Deputy Governor Ülo Kaasik presented the latest economic forecast of the bank for 2023-2026.

The Board decided that Deputy Governor of the central bank Veiko Tali would continue as a member of the Finantsinspektsioon Supervisory Board for the next three years. His new term as a member of the Finantsinspektsioon Supervisory Board will begin at the start of 2024.

The Supervisory Board confirmed its own working schedule for 2024 and clarified the working schedule of the internal audit for next year. The Board also heard a review of the quota reform of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that was approved last week, which will increase the quotas of IMF member countries, and the next steps to be taken domestically within Estonia following the quota reform.

The next meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board will be on 16 January.
