At its regular meeting on Tuesday, the Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank heard the central bank’s risk management report and decided to release Deputy Governor Maive Rute from her post at her own initiative as of 1 November.

The Governor of the bank Madis Müller gave board members the regular review of the state of the economy in the euro area and Deputy Governor Ülo Kaasik presented the latest assessments of the Estonian economy and the labour market.

The Supervisory Board also changed its own working procedures to allow it to hold meetings using remote communications.

The next meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board is planned for 3 November.
