Meeting of the Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank



At Tuesday’s regular meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board, Eesti Pank Governor Madis Müller gave board members the regular review of the state of the economy in the euro area. Head of the financial stability department Jaak Tõrs presented the latest financial stability review, which the central bank released on Wednesday.

Members of the Board also heard a presentation of the risk management report for the past year and saw the initial plan for the budget of the central bank for next year. The Executive Board of the central bank plans to approve the Eesti Pank budget 2024 in the second half of December.

The Supervisory Board also approved the plan of the central bank’s Executive Board for the collector coins that could be issued in 2025. The Executive Board plans to confirm the plan for issuing the coins in 2025 shortly.

The next meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board will be on 19 December.
