At a seminar before Tuesday's regular meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board, Raul Eamets, Chair of the Fiscal Council, presented a report on the activities of the council and its opinion on the state finances. The Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank declared its support for the work of the Fiscal Council.

Eesti Pank Governor Ardo Hansson gave board members the regular review of the state of the economy in the euro area and Deputy Governor Madis Müller presented the latest Financial Stability Review.

The Board heard a review of the results of the external evaluation of the internal audit, which was carried out by the independent auditor AS Deloitte Audit Eesti. This is a regular evaluation of the internal audit that is done every five years.

The next regular meeting of the Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank will be held on 13 June.
