<p>Eesti Pank publishes payment statistics every month, see also the release calendar for statistics. Once per quarter a separate statistical release is published together with the payment statistics. A statistical release on the payment statistics for the first&nbsp; quarter of 2024 will be published on 25 April 2024 at 08.</p>

<h2>Background</h2>

<p>The statistical release describes the main changes in the payment statistics such as payments sent and received, card payments, and payees by main economic activity.</p>

<p><strong>The statistical release is independent of economic policy releases and is presented separately from them.</strong></p>
