Background Information

Eesti Pank publishes payment statistics every month. Once per quarter a separate statistical release is published together with the payment statistics.

The statistical release describes the main changes in the payment statistics of the banks such as payments sent and received, card payments, and e-commerce transactions.

The statistical release is independent of economic policy releases and is presented separately from them.
