The Supervisory Boards of Eesti Pank and Finantsinspektsioon held a joint seminar

A joint seminar was held on Tuesday for the Supervisory Boards of Eesti Pank and Finantsinspektsioon, at which the roles in financial supervision in Estonia were discussed, including the question of support for financial innovation. The seminar also discussed developments in the banking sector, risks, capitalisation and capital requirements.
The meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board was held after the joint seminar, and Board members were presented the new Eesti Pank Financial Stability Review that will be published on 19 November.
Governor Madis Müller also gave the Board the regular review of the state of the economy in the euro area.
The next meeting of the Eesti Pank Supervisory Board will be on 3 December.
