The President of the European Central Bank will give a lecture in the Independence Hall of Eesti Pank at 11.30 on 4 November on the topic of Monetary Policy in the Euro Area. The event is part of a series of lectures dedicated to the economist Professor Ragnar Nurkse. The seminar will be in English.

The Professor Ragnar Nurkse lecture series
Professor Ragnar Nurkse was an economist from Estonia who gained international recognition in the 1940s and 1950s. His research has provided valuable information, lessons and rules on monetary policy issues, international trade, international policy coordination and development economics.
Eesti Pank started the lecture series dedicated to Professor Nurkse in 2007.
