On 29 May Eesti Pank will issue into circulation a two-euro circulation coin dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Song Celebration. A total of one million coins will be issued. Coins and coincards will be on public sale from 14.00-17.00 on Wednesday 29 May in the Independence Hall of Eesti Pank.

The design for the two-euro circulating coin dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Song Celebration was chosen in a drawing competition for children with a public online vote. The coin was designed by Grete-Lisette Gulbis of Tõrva. A total of one million coins have been minted, of which 10,000 are BU quality and are sold on a coincard.

Coins and coincards will be on public sale from 14.00-17.00 on 29 May in the Independence Hall of Eesti Pank. Entrance to the central bank will be through the main entrance on Estonia pst near the corner of Kentmanni tänav. Visitors to Eesti Pank will need to pass through security checks. The Eesti Pank Museum will be closed on that day.

Coins and coincards will also be available from the Omniva online shop from 11.00 on the same day. Coins and coincards will not be sold at post offices. Eesti Pank will release one fifth of the coins directly into retail circulation so that they will be given out as change from shop tills. The presentation card for the coin cannot be reserved and up to five can be bought at once.
