A statistical release on the payment statistics for the third quarter of 2023 will be published on 24 October 2023 at 08.00.</p>

<h2>Background</h2>

<p>Eesti Pank publishes payment statistics every month. Once per quarter a separate statistical release is published together with the payment statistics.</p>

<p>The statistical release describes the main changes in the payment statistics such as payments sent and received, card payments, and payees by main economic activity.</p>

<p><strong>The statistical release is independent of economic policy releases and is presented separately from them.</strong></p>
