Reporting for Automated Teller Machine service providers
Eesti Pank as a national statistical agency collects the data needed to produce and disseminate monetary, financial and balance of payments statistics to carry out its duties in accordance with the legal requirements in Section 34 of the Eesti Pank Act and Section 8 of the Official Statistics Act. The information collected in the reports allows Eesti Pank to carry out its work in promoting the payment environment and organising the circulation of cash, to meet its responsibilities to the European Central Bank, and to provide data users at home and abroad with valuable datasets for analysing the economy.
Reports on Automated Teller Machine service provision are submitted by companies other than credit institutions that own Automated Teller Machines in Estonia and that Eesti Pank has sent a notification to about the requirement to submit reports.
The obligation and responsibility for submitting the reports are given by Section 28 (1) and Section 39 of the Official Statistics Act.
By law, Eesti Pank ensures organisational, technological and physical protection of data submitted in the reports. All data are used for statistical purposes only and are disseminated in consolidated form without identifiable features.

Submission of reports
Submission of reports must follow Decree No 4 Requirements for the electronic submission of reports of the Governor of Eesti Pank of 29.05.2018.
Reports are submitted through the data collection portal aruandlus.eestipank.ee.
Please note: When reports are submitted to the data portal by email or through the web service, it is important to note that the Automated Teller Machine service provider reports are submitted under financial sector statistics.
