The President of the European Central Bank will visit Estonia at the start of November

The President of the European Central Bank Christine Lagarde will visit Estonia on 4 November and give a public lecture at Eesti Pank on the monetary policy of the euro area. She will also meet the Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance and entrepreneurs on the same day.

The President of the European Central Bank will give an hour-long lecture in the Independence Hall of Eesti Pank at 11.30 on 4 November on the topic of Monetary Policy in the Euro Area. The lecture is part of a series of lectures dedicated to the economist Ragnar Nurkse.

The lecture will be broadcast online for anyone who wants to listen to it on the Eesti Pank website and through the Facebook page of the central bank. Attendance in person is by invitation. During her visit, Christine Lagarde will also meet the Eesti Pank executive board, the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance, and young Estonian entrepreneurs.
